Only 62 complaints? There would probably have been more but their Internet was down. Pathetic, unenthusiastic service by people who would rather not be in the business

I strongly do not recommend Consolidated Communication for internet in the Montgomery County area north of Houston. 1) Poor equipment reliability: I have requested 3 service calls to the house to troubleshoot poor internet service from June 1, 2016 to August 19, 2016. I am very disappointed with CCI. I tallked to several agents. Agent Scott promised me that my concern would be completed within 24 hours. I spoke to another rep who showed arrogance with me and said that it would be completed anytime from 8-5. Then I called again and was transferred to tech support Lyzza or Lyzzia where the tech trouble shooting lasted for 1 hour and 39 mins but btw she was nice and respectful. Then when I asked to be... My cable box or my remote (or both) were not working. I called CCI to have them come out. It took me over an hour to finally talk to someone that could schedule a service call. They never called to confirm someone was actually coming out. They did arrive between the time they said they would. The guy was able to upgrade my internet connection,which was great. I recently applied for new connection on my new purchased House in Foster Ridge sub division. They said it would take 20 days as resources are not available. There is no alternative provider over there and it is monopoly for them. I asked many times to escalate to get the connection within 10 days but never happened. How greedy that this mediocre cable company would still charge an EARLY disconnection fee based on how many months you have left on your contract, which itself is ridiculous! REALLY? Especially when you don't service the city we moved to!!! INTERNET WAS SLOW! Sooooo disappointing! On a good note, Military ARE exempt.... Rightfully so too! When I turn on the tv, it gets only audio and no pictures sometimes, which takes forever to load, when it finally loads, a few minutes later, it sometimes pixels out and lags behind, skipping portions of shows, which really frustrates me. :( I have also had to return lots of internet routers, just to find out that it was the connection itself, so I had to call up geek squad to check it out, and Consolidated had to dig though my grass to fix...
