Internet has been down since Sunday night totally 3 days by now. No update no expect fix date no explaination what happened...just no internet....

They Just Plain Suck

There comes a time in this day and age that you would think an internet service would be reliable. However, with theses whack jobs it is completely the opposite. In order to even have a solid connection, you almost need to just say you are a business and purchase the fiber option. If you like to play video games with your friends Consolidated is not for you. You will never be able to connect with anyone. If you like to be on your laptop and phone at the same time that is not possible. This is the worst internet service in all of the world. If you even think about buying this service go ahead and DO NOT! Complete waste of money and time.

I have had problem after problem and no resolution to the problems. Dispatch lies to you and the customer service reps lie without any consequences.

Conversations are not recorded so no accountability is held on the employees. Corporate does not care either they blame each other. You have no BBB acreddidation because the complaint level is so high. FCC is notified now and looks like we might actually get help with what we pay for.

By the way if they record you you can do the same. I have started recording and playing it back to management.

Why are they requesting a dealth certificate to switch the client after dealth of original client that died? My husband just died and CCI is requesting a dealth certificate to put the service in his daughter's name.We are paying them and not asking for money from them....

Consolidated Communications - Technical Support Review from Montgomery, Texas

Our Internet and phone have been down for 4 days. I called the first day and had technical support create a ticket for the issue to be fixed. Never heard back from them. I called the next day. The phone rep stated that the ticket was still in line to be resolved and that I should hear something from them within 24-48 hours. Never heard anything! I called back today (4th day) and they stated that my ticket was in line and that I had to wait for the other tickets in front of mine. They could not give me a time frame or anything as to how long I will be without service. They are a joke! God forbid you don't pay your bill though! They'll be hounding you for your money and cutting off service, but the minute you demand to get what your paying for, you only get attitude. Sadly due to where we live we have no other options! Thanks for treating your customers like trash Consolidated.

Yup, had ours knocked out by a construction crew. I called it in and they told me that I was a low priority in town, 3 days later they fiiiiinally fixed things. They never called to say they were going to be delayed.

Xfinity is here now finally. I plan to be switching by the end of the month.

Consolidated Communications Bundle Review from Mankato, Minnesota

Consolidated communications are a joke. Our tv and internet won't work half of the time. They don't credit back the down time without you having to beg for it. Normally our service doesn't work on Fridays, meaning it can't be fixed until that following Monday! Also have experienced days where they haven't requested a tech appointment although they told me they did. I was sitting at home for a day waiting, and when no one showed up I called in and no one had been sent in the first place!! If you are thinking about getting this service, save yourself a lot of money, frustration and time, and go somewhere else!! Sincerely, unhappy customer.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE DRIVER ENCOUNTER

I've had, without choice Consolidated Communications Internet Service for seven years. They are so bad that I have complained dozens of times over the years and there has been little change. They've done nothing to improve service in my area. I upgraded as soon as they had more than 6 mb available and they install a split system which really doesn't do much to give me the 20mb on a consistent basis. In fact they only guarantee 16 of the 20mb, however, I rarely get even that. They're supposed to refund if you don't but they don't and I'm sooooo tired of calling them. In addition, they're phone techs are basically dumb ***. I know more than they do!! To add to this, I encountered one of they're drivers who tailgated me for 15 miles and than cut me off. I was doing 3 miles over the speed limit and he insisted on following me within 2 feet until he could pass me and cut me off. This company needs to improve their service for one and stop thinking that because we have NO choice, they can treat us like ***. Because that will not last forever and when we do have a choice, it will not be them!! They also need to keep an eye on their drivers. I HATE Consolidated and can't wait until I can dump them!

Unreliable service

I receive very slow Internet service and it constantly loses connection. The Internet will lose connection 12-15 times while streaming a movie, sometimes 2-3 times within a couple of minutes which is very annoying. I am paying for 100 mpbs but only getting 5 mpbs. Consolidated can't seem to get it fixed. They replaced my modem but it didn't help. Said they would switch channels but it didn't help. Anytime I call customer service I'm on the phone for an hour or more. I will be changing to a different provider as soon as my 2 year commitment is up.

Because Consolidated is FIRST a telephone service they are subject to the Public Service Commission. Contact them with your complaint and it will be fixed to your satisfaction OR Consolidated will have to release you from the contract for failure to fulfill its obligation....!!!!

Its always the same problem. *** equipment and *** tech support. I am officially DONE with them. I will use Verizon 4g from here on out. At least ot reliable.

Receiver box shut down

My TV box would shut down and then reload in about 30 minutes. I made a call to Consolidated and the very next day a repair man came out and checked all the wiring. Repair man decided there was something wrong with the box. He replaced the box with an upgrade and it cost me NOTHING. I have NOT had anymore problems ! When the service man installed all the wiring outside and inside, he did an excellent job. We have HOA here and it had to be done right. I don't know why all the complaints, I have had nothing but good luck with all the service. I have TV / Internet / Phone service with Consolidated. The speed of the internet is as good as Comcast if not better. I was with Comcast for over 6 years and all they did was keep raising my rate.

I'm decided whether or not to try Consolidated but there are so many negative reviews. I'm with Comcast now and I hate them.

Bad communication.

I am home bound so I need reliable service for my phone and internet. I need my email to function properly. My service goes out often. It does so with no warning and has cost me money when I have purchased unlimited game play for a set time. The internet just stops working. I do the basics, restart the computer, the modem, run diagnostics and the issue is clearly no access to the internet. I pick up the phone to call the techs and have no dial tone. I call from my cell phone and leave a message, because this isn't normal business hours. Late the next day later they call back after service was restored. Seems they took me off line for upgrades and repairs. Heads up would be nice. Another issue I have is the junk mail filter on the email. It thinks all mail is junk. I like Little Debbie snack cakes and frequently enter their sweepstakes. I put them in my address book and even added them to the allowed persons. I still get them flagged as junk. A junk mail filter is useless if it can't be trusted to filter the junk. At least Google Gmail has a this isn't spam button. Really CCI do better!

Customer service

I have called, been left on hold for 10 minutes, switched from one person to another, and even hung up on by tech support, this is the third message ive tried to get to someone who could explain my horrible customer service experience. But still no call back from anyone, I guess you just don't value your customers! I have called and finally spoken to several people that don't really care about my experience with this company, all anyone ever says is im sorry to hear that. That's fine but how about doing something to make me think you value me as a customer, like a call back, why even leave my number?

Very bad customer service

I have been trying to contact someone for over four hours, either I get switched from one person to another until I get frustrated and hang up or I get left on hold for 10 minutes or more and the last time I called someone hung up on me! if this is how you feel about your customers maybe I will just switch my service to Mediacom! if someone does not take care of my problems maybe you just need to restaff your customer service department because I have never been treated like this by any company that really cared about their customers

Internet stopped working called reported the issue took 5 days for them to call back. Schedule a time for repair they never called or showed ...called and scheduled a second time once again they did not show up or call..it has now been 9 days and it is still not working
