Unfair Business Practices

I signed up for internet service. From day one the service did not work properly. I called about 5 times on different occasions over a 5 month period to get it resolved and they could not so we had to cancel the service. We were charged an early termination fee of $129. When I called to ask to have it removed they refused stating that they only had records of me calling once. They claim to record all calls but do not. I have cell phone records of my calls. Stay away from Consolidated Communications.

Removal of termination charge. We should not have to pay for termination of a service that does not work.

This internet service is terrible.

The internet that Consolidated Communications is so horrid, the internet provided rarely works, and when it does we get TEN percent of what we pay for. Do not get their service as they are terrible at handling customers and provide terrible internet.

Being charged cut off fee after they sent bill to wrong address

Our service was cut do to non payment. THEY SENT TO WRONG ADRESS AFTER NUMEROUS YEARS AS A CUSTOMER!. NOW THEY ARE CHARGING US A REINSTALLATION FEE! AND NOT WAIVING SERVICE. THEY WON'T ACTIVATE SERVICE UNLESS WE ARE THERE AND WE ARE IN LOCKDOWN LIKE ALMOST EVERYONE. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIFIC!. O GUESS WORKING AT HOME LLOWS YOU TO EAT WHILE YOU ARE SUPPPOSED TO BE INTERACTING WITH YOUR CUSTOMER. CAN'T WAIT TILL THERE IS AN OPTION OTHER THAN THEM AS THEY WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS IMMEDIATELY. DON'T KNOW ANYONE THAT WAS EVER HAPPY WITH THERE SERVICE. SINCE THERE IS THIS WEBISTE I'M OBVIOUSLY NOT ALONE. COMCAST XFINITY IS BEING RUN IN MOST OF THERE REGIONS. SWITCH ASAP I AM. BTW THEY SERVICE EVERY TIME WE WENT TO OUR VACATION HOUSE WAS NOT WORKING, DAYS TO GET TECH ON HAND, ESSENTIALLY THROW MONEY AWAY WITH THERE SERVICE.

Technical Service

My tv service has been down for 2 days. I have spend 3 hours today and still not getting it fixed. Their service is terrible for repairs.

Price increase

After signing on with CCI for another year,at a " locked in" price,they sent my new bill telling me that they will be raising my invoice next month by 2 dollars. I called them and complained but the representative told me there was nothing he could do. Just try pulling that nonsense with the government,or even a contractor. These lying pieces of garbage don't care about any of us. All they care about is their "bottom line" .AngryAngryAngryAngry

Poor internet service

For the second time in less than a month I am once again having to call Consolidated because my internet is NOT working. This happens more frequently than not and is not acceptable in todays world. Consolidated should be held to the standards that other internet services provide! Living in a rural area and having Consolidated as your only choice for internet service is wrong to say the least! I depend on the internet when doing my college work. It is Monday and my assignment is due Wednesday..the earliest appointment Consolidated has to send a technician out is Thursday. CONSOLIDATED...FIX YOUR PITIFUL SERVICE AND PROVIDE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY ARE PAYING FOR!

price reduction and profuse apology for service being so bad

Go elsewhere.

I suspended service in January and had paid in full up to then. Should have only been charged their monthly suspension fee in Feb, but they are trying to charge me for two more full months and claiming I didn't pay for December. I have a bank statement that shows otherwise.

Think carefully before you commit to a contract,

I went back to Consolidated because of promotions but the same old problem of unreliability has reared its ugly head again. The reason I left my other provider was because I was unable to negotiate the cost down because my promotions ran out, otherwise I would still be their customer. I was completely satisfied with everything else. If my problem continues I'll cancel my service!!

Don’t do it. I think we all should just stop payment at one time and get there attention!

Empty promises Service standards not adequate Passed off techs also If employees are mad about having to lie to customers. Consolidated Texas seems to be that way all over.

Don’t use this company

Always loosing internet signal then wait days to get it fixed Self employed or need your internet to make a living. Then dont rely on this company Yup the string and Dixie cup phone company

Same here in Damon Tx. People at the front of the neighborhood has 40 to 50 meg.

Tech said we have 6 at best. Though we pay the same! The Tech said they are more concerned buying other services then make the system they have work.

We at Peacon Bend have been promised for two years that they will add a switch to the back of our Neighborhood so all can get signal. Tech’s says they have shelved that and won’t even give anyone including employees anything as raises and make them lie to people promises of better service.

Discrimination against Internet service upgrade

We currently have Internet service at 15mps (DSL). We requested an upgrade to 25mps and was told by Customer service that Consolidated Comm Engineering would not honor due to upgrade cost even though we have available multiple DEMARC ports to BOND lines to provide 25mps. Address is 213 Stephens Road - Internet Residential, and 217 Stephens Road Business - Dry Loops are 207864**** and 207864**** respectively. Our neighbor at 249 Stephens road has 25mps and further from DEMARC. We are being DISCRIMINATED and are very upset. Engineering can to this if they TRY but are resisting. Expect the worst

Consolidated Communications - Expect the worst
I've been playing tag with Consolidated Communications since their service was installed about 3-4 months ago. Constantly calling them, horrible download speeds, spotty service, always having to reset the router. I'm paying for 25mbs, but I have only ever seen at most 2.9mbs. If anything on the network is downloading an update, or a video game, then everything else loses internet, or at the very best the network operates at just below dial up internet speeds.

Stay away it's a big ripoff they take advantage of everyone and we have no choice in are area

They play only shows or movies from the 60 70 80 that should be on Turner classic movies and repeat them every day and take shows and play them 24 hrs. a day on like 6 channels . The cable is always going out and they don't call you back and charge us even if we don't have cable working and now we get more commercials then shows .

Don't do it!

Our internet has been slow since they took over. We upgraded our our speed 2 weeks ago, a customer service person told me the 5g would b ready in 24 hrs! So, we have been without internet for 48hrs now's, told by Tec support someone would be here today. No one showed up. Called them, they said I had an appt yesterday? R u frigin kidding me? Now, have to wait until Friday, 1/17. I hope I don't take care of any of ur family, cuz I can't c their info as consolidated communications is more than aweful!
