Consolidated Communications - Horrible Customer Service
I contacted Consolidate Comm because I needed to reset my password. The customer rep was good and helped me.
Then she looked at my account an offered to upgrade our account so we would have better Internet, and we would save $30 for the next 2 years (*of course, she couldn't tell what the rate would be after the 2 years...) Anyway, she scheduled an order for over 3 weeks from the date of our conversation. My husband took a Tuesday off to be home "between 8 and 5"... he saw one of their vans go by TWICE but neither time did it stop at our home. He later got a voicemail that they needed to reschedule to Thursday...
so again he stayed home on Thursday to be there "between 8 and 5"... again, no one showed or called, he later got a voicemail that it would be rescheduled to Friday... today is Friday and guess what? We are not going to be here (have to work...
surprise!) I am leaving a message on my door about my displeasure and that if the tech can leave a modem we can install it ourselves. I am going to bet that no one shows up today... and I am going to look into getting rid our our landline phone, which we don't really need, and see what other Internet options are out there.
I am basically throwing money out the window with this company and the customer service is horrible. **NO STARS FOR THIS COMPANY AT ALL **
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $500.
Preferred solution: 2 days no pay - you can waive our phone bill payment for 2 months.
Consolidated Communications Cons: No follow through, Bad communication, Poor customer service.
