Poor Service and High Billing

I'm on my 4th time to report my TV service. They have never fixed it the 1st time. The screen freezes, I get a message that it lost connection, the screen goes into large blocks of color . If you put in a report on the web they never respond nor fix. They charge too much and I love the propaganda on the commercials about how good they are. They don't offer any lower rates when you reach your renewal month. Maybe for a business they are good but for a homeowner, they are the worst. When they were Sure West they were good but at this point I would recommend looking into a different provider before signing up with them.

The website is very stupid (difficult to use/understand) with lots of errors and ugly. They should have a better customer service website!

Internet service, pricing

Internet connectivity is sporadic (DSL), with frequent unexplainable interruptions. The company had no interest in upgrading our landlines. Customer service is polite, but having to go through the same menu every time the provider has an issue on their end is frustrating and unfair, considering the constant problems. Price for value is terrible. Looking forward to dropping CC as soon as possible.

Rubbish Internet

Rubbish internet service and customer support. Called months ago to tell them my high speed wasn't working. Several tech visits later, finally fixed, but they refused to refund me for the time it wasn't working. Implied it was probably my fault it wasn't working in the first place - that I had too many devices on the line. Avoid at all costs.

Internet inoperable

I have not had Internet consistently for ten days. Contacted Consolidated 4 times now and get the same broken record from all of the net support . Looking into it someone is coming out. Wrote up a ticket. I put in the notes. BS after BS. Still no internet . Or me even told me it looks like the tickets been closed what a bunch run around. I keep asking when is someone coming out?. You should here the lies and excuses they tell you. Uhhh, my supervisor is looking at it right now

Because you're a bunch of *** Kirksey charger charged me twice for something I already paid for yes or no on Fox

Yes hopefully want some phone if you *** said that I had to pay insurance on your *** Crooks and you paid I paid the $4 and I ain't got no *** phone and you keep *** with me yeah well *** you tell me. That $4 back *** you I've already *** spread it on Facebook like bunch of *** Crooks you are you still in the red bastards

NO TV SERVICE FOR 2 WEEKS + ZERO ASSISTANCE GETTING IT FIXED

They have been LYING for 2 WEEKS NOW about lmaginary Service they were going to do to get my TV Fixed.

Complete garbage company doesn’t care

internet has been cutting in and out all day for several months. technicians come out 3-5 days after initial call and do not fix issue. been without internet for 12 hours now and customer service days theyre working on it. i ask WHO is working on it, she said she doesnt know. I asked for timeframe of technicians she said she didnt know. I asked where i was in queue she said she didnt know. This company is the worst! i only have CC because its the only ISP for my area. I hate giving them money for terrible service!

Annoyed

Customer service is fine for me, so are installation techs. It's the poor speed for insane rates, the fact that it is constantly going out around 10pm, the sudden outages, and the fact that even if they service an area, they can't meet the bare minimum to properly stream TV or play basic games or work reliably. Note that service area maps are often out of date or just plain wrong. Call the companies you see listed as servicing and double-check.

Phone and Internet not working.

All good! I was told they would be there and they were and fixed the problem. Although, I stayed home all day waiting for their phone call and never received one.finally about 6 in the evening I noticed everything was working again.

14 years with Consolidated communications was the service provider for my home telephone my home cable and internet service, their service was adequate for the first three to five years with kinks here and there a lot of switching out in tone boxes as they learned...

I call so many time for the same problem

Last year problem with phone and internet came over fix the temporary My neighbor inform me wire on top of lawn to mower \they have to lift the wire . I started to call last month they were going to come next day no one waited couples more day I saw the truck in front did do nothing call back put me on hold over 15 minutes when dead call back the person said 2 to 3 days last week still waiting not happy with service may have to start looking for some else . What happen is this line get cut off I will not have service Is this what I get to be a customer over 38 years

Had trouble finding anyone to talk to

Every thing went extremely well once I finally got a live human being to talk to. They need to be more direct and not depend almost entirely on a maze of computers.

Internet is out after a storm no one showing up rude staff when i call nasty ans said i woukd have to pay despite no service

Wed. severe storm. Wires poles down. I get it. Friday poles thursday power back poles up. No internet pile wires in road cut . Called repair rude said i would still have to pay usual bill. Saturday called repair wires hanging in road. Rude says wont be coming till after holiday. Said i was changing company they are terrible put me to customer service. Asks when is disconnect date. No apologies from anykone.

User's recommendation: Avoid this company the only reason I’ve had it for 20 some years is because of my loyalty to the people that work there locally from back when it was a lovely company called Taconic technology they had an office right here in chatham and we knew everybody by name and they always took care of us but they made the mistake of merging with Fairpoint and then Fairpoint merged with consolidated and it’s been a steady decline ever since especially with consolidated the price keeps going up the service keeps going down the people you talk to on the phone I don’t know where they are they’re all over and they’re nasty.

Lost phone service yesterday with no response?

Call them up and got song and dance , -going on 2 days and no help to get phone back on and called before storm with problem
