Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. Finally repaired.

My Internet service went down on Sunday June 18 and I was told a technician could not come until the following Thursday, June 22. I took a vacation day and waited at home from 8:00AM until 7:00PM, finally calling technical support who confirmed my outstanding ticket and told me the tech.

would be there the next morning, Friday. I took another vacation day and waited at home another 11 hours, no tech. and no phone call. I called tech support once again and this time was told Monday, June 26.

I took another vacation day, no tech. and no phone call. Called tech support and was told Tuesday, June 27 another vacation day, no tech and no phone call. I called and was told Wednesday.

At this point I told them I could take another vacation day as I had already taken four days and waited a total of 44 hours. I was told they can only fix my service if someone is home.

I am still without service. Unbelievable!

My elderly father had horribly slow internet through Consolidated. They sold him upgraded FIDIUM Fiber.

Installed FIDIUM and 10 months later I discovered they were charging him for both!! All modems / routers had been removed by Consolidated on date they installed FIDIUM. After hours on the phone, they told my 80 yr old father the best they could do is reimburse him for 3 months of the charges. They charged him $59 / month for 10 months for a service they removed from his house.

They stole $590 from him and when they got caught they gave him back $177. THIEVES, THIEVES, THIEVES, THIEVES, THIEVES, THIEVES, THIEVES, THIEVES, THIEVES!

Poor service, incompetence and employees that lie.

I've been without service for a week, took them 56 days to get a tech here. He was useless and told me the problem was with my laptop. Was supposed to return today and didn't show up nor did he return my phone calls. Called support and a woman told me the same thing and if I deleted the Microsoft Maps app it would fix the problem because it was drawing too much. tay awaySDo NOT do business with this outfit .

Terrible service

So. I moved out of town about 4-5 years ago.

Since then I have had consolidated communications as a internet and phone provider. I am at my limit. You try and call to see what the issue is. They want you to have every once of information you can give to them and then theyll talk to you.

My problem mainly is, when you go to make a complaint NO ONE WILL LISTEN. I have had my internet go out so much and I never had once had a problem with xfinity. Sure internet would go out. But it wouldnt be a routine thing.

Im at the point where I get so angry its happened again because they dont listen and dont care. If I could switch providers I would but they specifically have roads I contract so no other providers can come in and take their spots. Theyre money hungry and make people suffer for a dollar. School is hard.

Looking things up for work is hard. Im afraid I will loose all and any progress I have made on certain things because my internet will randomly just turn off and something wont come on after you reset the router.

Been an internet customer since the'90's. Starting last year my service will simply seize up for no apparent reason.

Signed up for the most bandwith available in my area. However, since the supposed upgrade, my service is slower than ever. When I participate on a Zoom or Webex call I get messages telling me my internet connection is unstable.My smart tv has to buffer everything most recently. I am frustrated with tech support who won't connect me to the hub a half block from my house with reliable high speeds, but instead insist I have to remain on this antiquated snail line at least 15 miles away.

This is killing my business.i had to agree to a contract thatI have yet to recive and told that I can't cancel without a penalty. When I asked if it was an evergreen contract the rep tried to lie, but finally admitted if I didn't cancel within 30 days of the expiration date it would automatically renew.

They are using old copper and are refusing to fix their copper or replace their lines

Our internet keeps going out every day and we have to reboot our router and we tried everything we replaced our router and we moved our router and used Ethernet on our desktop and even changed and removed the password and nothing is working to help this

We talked to a tech for another company who said Consolidated uses older copper wires from back in the days of landline phones for their internet and they offer fiber in some areas but not our area we have tried to get Consolidated to fix the old wires that were set up by Verizon who was bought out by fairpoint and then Consolidated bought fairpoint but has refused to replace there lines

We heard on the news they are doing fiber in Maine but they said its only for more populated areas and not our area I would avoid Consolidated if you can

The only good this is there is no data cap

Our only other options are to do Hughes net and they have a low data cap and need a ugly dish in our house, use cable that requires a 500 dollar install fee due to the wire expansion needed or to wait for Starlink to be launched in our area we are keeping Consolidated for now but might switch to cable or starlink in the future

I never tired their phone or tv service but I doubt its any better

Advertised as great internet but bandwidth is low, and ping spikes at all times of the day. Not reliable for gaming, streaming, or even using an Alexa. Just all around worse of the worse out there. Spectrum, TMobile 5G home internet, Google Fiber, or even ATT are all 10x better than this You can obtain TMobile 5G home internet anywhere, even if it's not in your home - just set it up to an approved address and you are authorized to use it at ANY (ex. your home) location

POOR SERVICE OR LACK THERE OF!

Without service more than I have it! It is costing me my personal business that I do from home!

And This has been going on for over 5 years! And I call and they say they will have someone call to set a time up to come out, they NEVER call until they are on their way and I work my full time job during the day and it an hour away! They never give a heads up or nothing and then I have to suffer and pay for a service I dont receive and then my business suffers because I cant produce what I promised!

Its not right nor is it legal! Something HAS TO BE DONE about this company and their disregard to their customers!

Called multiple times regarding poor service. Representative was condescending. I am a long time customer in good standing. My service has been poor since inception. Wait times for service orders are long and rarely if ever solve the problem.

Horrible horrible company! I have no choice but to use them for my internet because we dont have any other options. My internet is out, which I completely rely on for everything including tv! Tech support had me trouble shoot but unplugging and replugging in the modem. Thank you tech scholar! When it still would not work it was declared broken. A ticket was written for a technician to come out. They cant tell me when or if this would happen. I rent out my house though Airbnb and my guests are now up there with no way to communicate with the outside world. This company is worthless
