Earlier there was a outage for lots of people here in VT, as well as NH & ME. Ok it happens right, well around 3p.m they said everyone should have service and to restart the modem.

Well ours is still not working, we have been without internet for 13 hours now. Our work, kids school and entertainment rely on the internet. I messaged them using my own data from my phone all day only to get delayed answers and then finally told to call tech. So I called, the woman literally only tried to send one signal to my modem and then says I scheduled you for a tech call and it should be made to you by 7:00 tomorrow night?

I was like are you serious right now, we have been out for hours and you want my entire family to go another day without internet for our every day needs. I said and what am I going to do with three kids who rely on the internet for there school and entertainment as we don't have cable, we use Netflix and she says pop a dory movie into the DVD player like wtf! First of all we don't have a DVD player and second my kids are 16,13 & 13...dory? Ya ok!!

So I then turn my phone data on again and go back to there Facebook page and left another post...I get a reply about a hour later around 7p.m saying to send all information in a message to them on Facebook. So I did. I wait and wait..I hear nothing so I finally both message and commented letting them know that I am fed up and done waiting and waisting my time and that I will be getting ahold of Comcast to get Service from them! Two minutes later I get a response ( ya quick that time when they see I'm done with this cr**) and this is about a hour ago saying that they forwarded all info to tech to start working on this issue.

Are you kidding me? It took me wanting to switch providers before I was taken seriously? And yet here we are almost a hour later and 13 without internet and we still haven't gotten a call from tech and we still don't have internet! Now I haven't heard the greatest reviews about Comcast but at this point I'm willing to try anything knew just so I don't have to deal with the worst customer service and tech I have ever had to deal with in my entire life!

If you are reading these reviews to decide on a internet provider...do yourself a favor and go to anyone else but this company! I have waisted a entire day of my life that I won't get back dealing with dead ends, no help, horrible customer service, using up all the data on my phone which you and I both know they will not reimburse that or the amount of time we had no internet! And that is just today! I am telling you not a day goes by that there isn't some issue with there internet service, it's either lagging and slow, not working or I have to turn the modem on and off at least once or twice a day!

On top of that our house phone we have through them in order to have internet does not work at all, no one can call us and we can't call anyone on it! When asking if they can send someone to fix the phone they said it will cost almost 80$ to have someone come do that! They want us to pay another 80$ to fix our phone issues that are issues because of them!! And we can't even get rid of the phone because we have to have it in order to have internet!

And so we are paying the monthly phone bill part and not even being able to use the phone! We pay roughly 116$ a month for internet and phone!

A phone that doesn't work and internet service that is horrible and when it's out you get no help at all!! We are done, fed up bye bye consolidated communications and hello Comcast!
